Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Trauma Therapist with over 13 years of experience working across various levels of the mental health continuum. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology-Psychology from Immaculata University in Immaculata, Pennsylvania, and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with adults, adolescents ages 9 and older, and military and civilian families. I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and unhealthy relationship patterns.

I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you feel safe being yourself and exploring the experiences that have shaped you. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. For those who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling that incorporates faith into the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at your own pace. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and other evidence-based treatment approaches based on your individual needs.

Together, we will explore how past experiences may influence your present thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while developing practical tools to manage symptoms, strengthen boundaries, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier patterns. My goal is not simply to help you cope with current challenges, but to support lasting healing, increased self-awareness, and personal growth. For clients who desire a faith-based approach, I also offer Christian counseling that thoughtfully integrates biblical principles and spirituality into treatment.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are experiencing, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will also ask questions to better understand your strengths, existing support systems, and any concerns that may be affecting your well-being.

You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, respected, and supported as you share what you are ready to discuss. Together, we will begin identifying your priorities and developing a treatment plan that reflects your needs and goals. You can expect a collaborative, judgment-free environment where your voice matters and healing happens at a pace that feels manageable for you.
