Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Talin Yesaie and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I have been working in the San Diego area for the past 20 years, helping children, at risk teenagers and families meet their goals. My specialty and passion is providing trauma informed and culturally responsive support to empower others to meet their goals. I have experience working with and specialize in blended families, adoptions and parenting. I use my personal experience and training to work with families on immigration and acculturation issues and speaks fluent English and Armenian. I'm trained in the parenting model Positive Discipline which focuses on supporting humans feel a sense of Belonging and Significance.

My approach to therapy

Clients have described me as supportive, encouraging, validating and solution focused. I also come from a trauma informed frame work and use Trauma Focused CBT to help others work through and get to the core of what is holding them back.

What you can expect from me

A warm and empathic person. An assessment will be completed and I will work with the client to develop goals that are important to them.
