Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. Seeking support takes courage, and I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with a background in both education and mental health. Before becoming a counselor, I spent more than a decade in education, gaining insight into the academic, social, emotional, and family challenges that can impact well-being across the lifespan.

My professional experience includes providing support in school settings, residential care for children and adolescents, and an autism-focused behavioral hospital. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and life-transition challenges.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward growth, healing, and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and actively involved in the process. Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore challenges, and develop tools that can help you navigate life's demands with greater confidence.

With experience in both education and mental health, I understand how emotional well-being affects relationships, school, work, and daily life. I work with children, teens, young adults, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, behavioral concerns, and school-related challenges.

My goal is not only to help clients feel better, but to help them build skills and resilience that support lasting growth long after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. My priority is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and free to share at your own pace.

During our first meeting, I will spend time learning about your concerns, current challenges, personal strengths, and what has led you to seek counseling. I will also explain the counseling process, answer any questions you may have, and discuss what therapy may look like moving forward.

Together, we will identify your goals and begin developing a plan that reflects your unique needs and priorities. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Whether you have a specific concern or simply know that something needs to change, we can work collaboratively to gain clarity and determine the next steps.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
