Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Taliya and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University Bloomington. With a strong educational foundation and years of practical experience, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care to individuals seeking support and guidance in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and empathetic space allows my clients to explore their emotions and experiences with confidence and trust. My focus on TF-CBT equips me to guide individuals through the healing process, particularly those dealing with the lasting impacts of trauma.

What you can expect from me

I am dedicated to meeting each client where they are, empowering them to discover their inner strength. Whether addressing long-standing issues or navigating recent life changes, my clients benefit from learning skills that they can use to achieve their personal goals and overcome the challenges they face. I look forward to meeting you!
