Great to meet you!

I have a strong foundation of 25 years of diverse experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse settings and roles as a professional supervisor, professor, workshop facilitator, and Expert Witness in the judicial system. My integrative approach to psychology combines traditional therapeutic techniques (CBT, Psychodynamic, Trauma-based approaches) with holistic practices and wisdom-based traditions to support overall well-being. In my practice, I meet with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, identity issues, or perhaps a life crisis/transition. My approach combines evidence-based practices with a compassionate understanding of each client's unique needs to promote lasting positive change.

My approach to therapy

In my therapeutic practice, I embrace an integrative and holistic approach that considers the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I work collaboratively with clients, honoring their unique experiences and culture, fostering a safe space for exploration and growth. By integrating research-based techniques (e,g. CBT; Trauma-informed care) with body-mind practices (e.g., Mindfulness, Focusing), I address both past experiences and present challenges while supporting clients in envisioning a fulfilling future. My goal is to empower clients to create lasting positive change and achieve a balanced sense of well-being.

What you can expect from me

In my practice, I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions and visions of their future. My goal is to empower individuals to achieve greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a sense of fulfillment. Together, we work towards meaningful outcomes that enhance self-growth, awareness, and sew the seeds of fulfilling their future dreams and aspirations,
