Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in both mental health and substance use — which means I understand that these things rarely show up separately. Over the course of my career, from direct practice to clinical leadership, I've worked with people navigating recovery, unprocessed trauma, and the quiet ache of not feeling at home in themselves. I work with adults in New Jersey who are ready to move beyond just getting through the day. Whether you're in recovery, healing from childhood wounds, or struggling with how you feel about your body and your worth, you don't have to arrive with a polished story. You just have to show up.

My approach to therapy

I draw on a range of tools — including DBT skills, inner child work, and trauma-informed approaches — but more than any technique, I believe healing happens in relationship. DBT helps you build practical skills for managing overwhelming emotions without white-knuckling through them. Inner child work lets us go back to where some of those patterns started, with compassion instead of judgment. I follow your lead on pace and depth. Some clients want structure and skills; others need space to process. Most need both, and I'm comfortable moving between them depending on what you need most on a given day.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to know what your goals are yet — that's actually one of the things we figure out together. In our first session, I'll ask questions, but mostly I'll be listening for what feels most alive and most stuck for you right now. I want to understand your full picture: what you've been through, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping life could look like. My goal is that you leave the first session feeling like you were actually heard — not assessed, not categorized, just genuinely met. From there, we build something that actually fits.
