Tamara Sinclair

I am a licensed professional counselor from Milwaukee, WI. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Adult Education and Counseling. I have specialized in providing high quality behavioral and mental health services since 2017. I also work with couples and have a specialization in sex therapy and perinatal mental health. My experience includes working with veterans, LGBTQ+, high school students, and senior adults. I specialize in trauma-sensitive practices, anxiety, depression, and motivational interviewing.

My goal is to allow clients to prioritize themselves in therapy by utilizing a variety of therapy modalities to assist with building self-esteem, improving decision making, developing healthy and appropriate coping skills, and improving communication.

My goal is to provide insight or alternative perspectives that can be considered. I want clients to feel safe and have the ability to communicate freely. I also want my clients to understand that the work we do in session is preparation for the real work that happens outside of the therapy office. Ultimately, the client moves forward with the decisions that are best for them at the time.
