Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Tamesha Clement, M ED., LPC, and I am dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges in a supportive and compassionate environment. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health and School Counseling from the University of Houston–Victoria and have experience working in elementary schools, Texana Crisis Center, CPS, and The Harris Center. My professional background has allowed me to support children, adolescents, adults, and families facing anxiety, stress, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, and family-related challenges. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey. My goal is to help each client develop the tools and confidence needed to improve their overall mental wellness and daily functioning.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions to help clients manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and navigate life transitions. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, school-related stressors, as well as couples and family conflict. My goal is to help clients build healthy coping skills, emotional resilience, and confidence in their everyday lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment during their first session with me. Our initial session focuses on building rapport, discussing current concerns, exploring personal history, and identifying goals for therapy at a pace that feels comfortable for the client. I work collaboratively with clients to create realistic and meaningful goals while helping them feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process. My goal is for clients to leave the session feeling safe, encouraged, and hopeful about their journey toward healing and personal growth.
