Great to meet you!

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” – Maya Angelou

Hi, I’m Tamesha, a LPC who believes therapy should feel like a breath you’ve been waiting to exhale. I offer compassionate, culturally responsive support for individuals and couples ready to grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves.

I specialize in cultural identity, life transitions, and helping clients move through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship stress, and trauma-related concerns. I have experience supporting BIPOC communities, LGBTQ+ affirming care, couples, and geriatric clients.

My goal is to help you make sense of a world that can feel overwhelming while reminding you that you don’t have to navigate it alone. You’ll find a safe, open, inclusive space where your emotions are welcome and your story matters.

I’m a therapist who will support you wholeheartedly and also gently challenge the barriers that keep you stuck. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, building insight, skills, and resilience along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach centers the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) because your healing deserves space to unfold in every part of your life. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, values, and sense of purpose while finding practical tools to help you move through life’s challenges with more ease and confidence.

I draw from evidence‐based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but I never take a one‐size‐fits‐all path. Your story, your pace, and your needs guide our work. If something doesn’t feel like a fit, we’ll adjust and explore other modalities until we find what truly supports your growth.

My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that feels grounding, collaborative, and uniquely yours.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel truly seen and supported in our work together. Clients often leave sessions with a sense of clarity, empowerment, and respect, along with practical, meaningful strategies they can use in their daily lives. My hope is that each session offers a space where you feel grounded, encouraged, and equipped to keep moving toward the life you want.
