Great to meet you!
Professionally, this field has been great to me. It has allowed me to work with amazing clients including those in community mental health, non-profits, private practice, hospitals, addiction centers and supervise new therapists.
I attended UCLA for undergraduate school where I studied Cultural Anthropology and in graduate school while I earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology I felt a deeper sense of purpose.
I’ve always been someone others naturally turn to for support and understanding (my unofficial counseling career may have started around the elementary school lunch table). So becoming a therapist felt like a natural calling, allowing me to help individuals heal, grow, and move toward greater clarity, peace, and wholeness in all areas of life.
I believe that even (and especially) in the midst of life’s challenges, peace and hope are possible. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, anger, and stress by providing practical tools, compassionate support, and, when desired, faith-integrated counseling that promotes healing and growth.
I specialize in helping adults and women who feel overwhelmed, anxious, angry, emotionally stuck, or uncertain about their next steps in life. Many of my clients are seeking practical tools and meaningful change rather than spending years focusing solely on the past. I help high-functioning adults and women find clarity, emotional balance, healthier relationships, and a renewed sense of direction using a solution focused approach, cognitive strategies, and anger management when needed.
