Tamira Rosner

My name is Tamira Rosner, though I go by Tammy. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. I earned my M.Ed. in Community Counseling from Kent State University in 1996.

I have over 15 years of experience working within an Employee Assistance Program, where I supported individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including work-related stress, relationship and family challenges, depression, and anxiety. After taking time away from clinical work to be a stay-at-home parent when my children were young, I returned to the field and have been providing online counseling to individuals and couples since 2022.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and client-centered frameworks. I strive to meet each individual where they are, tailoring therapy to their unique needs, goals, and circumstances while creating a supportive and collaborative space for growth.

In our first session, clients can expect a supportive and conversational space to share what brings them to counseling. We’ll talk about the concerns you’d like help with, any relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from therapy. From there, we’ll begin to shape a plan together and take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
