Great to meet you!

Healing starts with having a space where you do not have to pretend you are okay. I’m Tammera McClenton, an LPC-S who is passionate about helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they work through life’s harder seasons. I support individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, stress management, and life transitions that can leave them feeling overwhelmed, stuck, reactive, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to create a space where you can show up honestly, do the work, and build the insight and tools needed to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional steadiness.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, collaborative, and practical. I help clients better understand their emotional patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, regulate difficult feelings, and build healthier coping skills that support real change. I often draw from DBT, CBT, and trauma-informed care to help address anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, emotional overwhelm, and relationship issues in a way that feels both supportive and effective. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest, challenged enough to grow, and supported enough to keep going. Together, we focus on healing, self-awareness, and building a life that feels more grounded and manageable.

What you can expect from me

In the first few sessions, clients can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where we begin exploring their background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. We will work together to better understand emotional patterns, coping strategies, and the areas where healing and growth are most needed. Whether you are coming in for trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, emotional regulation, or a major life transition, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered from the start. Together, we will create meaningful goals that fit your life and support your overall well-being.
