Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, and I earned my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I completed my Undergraduate in Psychology from Florida A&M University. I’m certified and experienced in EMDR- Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, CBT- Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Domestic Violence, Juvenile Intervention Treatment, and I'm Nationally Certified in Anger Management. I’m also a Qualified Supervisor.

My approach to therapy

My belief is that people are doing the best they can with the tools they have.I offer a nonjudgmental approach in which individuals can feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings divingdeeply into personal issues, and uncovering unhealthy patterns.I encourage clients to getcomfortable with the uncomfortable and learn to appreciate who they are.Being aware ofdiverse backgrounds and identities of individuals,I strive to understand each client’s worldview and help them develop new tools.

What you can expect from me

I believe we are an accumulation of our experiences. It is how we process the information of our experiences that shape who we are as humans. Everyone has a different way of relating, sharing, and connecting; I will always meet you where you are, and honor your process.
