Great to meet you!

Tammie is a seasoned counselor with 24 years working with children and adolescents. She holds a Master of Education in Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Tammie has particular expertise with anxiety, depression and grief. Using cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based techniques, she helps clients facing these challenges to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically in a judgment-free environment tailored to their needs. Tammie is also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic modality varies depending on the client. Most of the time, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is used. Additionally, I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which can be used to erase and replace unpleasant issues including trauma.

What you can expect from me

While I cannot guarantee no problems, most clients have reported that they feel lighter and more equipped to manage life's challenges after participating in therapy.
