Great to meet you!

I have experience working with individuals and couples from a wide variety of backgrounds. I received my M.S. Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from the Hunter College School of Education, as well as advanced education certificates from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. There I completed two-year programs in the Family and Couples Treatment Services division and the Integrated Trauma Program of ICP's Trauma Studies Center.

My approach to therapy

While my therapeutic orientation draws from an eclectic approach, I am particularly interested in how our early experiences, especially our early attachment patterns, can shape our present-day beliefs, affecting how we relate to ourselves and others. By understanding these dynamics, I believe we can gently challenge beliefs that are no longer accurate or useful, empowering us to redefine who we are and what we deserve.

What you can expect from me

From the beginning, one of my goals is to encourage you to approach your emotions with openness and curiosity, and in turn, show up for yourself with patience and compassion. I believe that our emotions - even when they are unpleasant to feel - can serve as compasses, leading us towards truths about our experiences, ourselves, and what we need most.
