Tammy Day LCSW-S, LCDC, C-DBT

Tammy Day is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor (LCSW-S), a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), the owner and operator of New Day Education and Counseling, LLC. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of New England, and her Master of Counseling Psychology degree from Texas A&M Central Texas, both in 2014. Tammy is also a Veteran of the US Army and has ample experience working with military members and their families.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize a variety of Cognitive Behavioral based therapies in Individual Therapy, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness based, and Compassion based therapies.

What you can expect from our first session

Tammy hopes to help people change their behaviors to change their outcomes. Her goal is to instill the ‘science of hope and wellness’ in her clients for them to succeed in creating the lives they envision for themselves.
