Great to meet you!

I believe that healing begins with understanding ourselves, our experiences, and the patterns that shape how we move through life. As a clinical mental health counselor, I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and other challenges that can affect their emotional well-being. I understand that past experiences can continue to influence how we think, feel, and connect with others, sometimes in ways we don't immediately recognize. My goal is to help you make sense of those connections while discovering healthier ways to move forward. I bring warmth, compassion, and a practical perspective to our work, creating a space where you can explore difficult experiences without judgment. I believe meaningful change is possible, and I'm passionate about helping people build the confidence, resilience, and tools to create it.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the understanding that our minds and bodies are deeply connected. I draw from evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and somatic techniques to help you better understand your experiences and develop practical ways to manage life's challenges. Depending on your needs, we may explore unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation skills, or work on how stress and past experiences affect your nervous system. I don't believe therapy should follow a one-size-fits-all formula. Together, we'll identify what matters most to you and develop an approach that respects your experiences, builds on your strengths, and supports meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to begin building a relationship where you feel comfortable, respected, and supported. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you're hoping to gain from our work together. I'll also take time to learn about your background, experiences, and the strengths that have helped you navigate difficult moments. We'll review confidentiality, answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. There's no expectation to share more than you're comfortable with. My priority is to understand your needs, establish a foundation of trust, and help you feel confident about the direction we'll take together.
