I'm glad you're here! Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and I believe finding the right therapist should feel comfortable from the very beginning. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 18 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults work through life's challenges. I earned my bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin and my master's degree from St. Edward's University. Over the years, I've worked in a variety of settings with people from many different backgrounds, giving me experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, adjustment issues, and many other emotional and personal struggles. Outside of my work, I'm married and the proud parent of boy/girl twins, so I understand firsthand how rewarding and demanding family life can be. I work with clients ages 3 and up and strive to create a space where everyone feels welcome, respected, and understood.
No two people are exactly alike, so I don't believe therapy should be either. I tailor each session to your unique needs, personality, and goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you're looking for practical tools, a place to process difficult emotions, or support through a major life change, we'll work together to find an approach that feels right for you and helps you move forward with confidence.
Your first session is all about getting to know you. I'll ask about your background, what's been weighing on you, and what you hope will be different through therapy. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions, and together we'll begin creating a plan that fits your goals. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that you don't have to navigate life's challenges on your own.
