Great to meet you!

I help individuals and couples who feel stuck in recurring conflict, disconnection, trust concerns, healing from infidelity, or difficult relationship transitions better understand the patterns keeping them stuck and create healthier ways of relating. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and relationship specialist, my work is informed by the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I earned my BSW and MSW from the University of Missouri–Columbia and have advanced Gottman Method training, including Levels 1 and 2. I offer a warm, grounded, and honest space where clients can gain insight, strengthen their relationships, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

You may care deeply about your relationship and still feel exhausted by the same arguments, disconnected from your partner, unsure how to rebuild trust, or overwhelmed by the impact of infidelity. In our work, we slow things down and look beneath the surface so we can understand the emotions, needs, and patterns shaping what happens between you. I draw from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, and when infidelity is part of the story, I help clients work through its impact with attention to accountability, emotional safety, trust, and repair. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater clarity, stronger connection, and practical ways to navigate difficult moments differently, not just in session, but in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Whether you’re coming in as an individual or a couple, the first session is about helping me understand your story, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope can change. With individuals, we’ll explore the patterns, relationships, experiences, and stressors that may be shaping where you are now, while also identifying what you want to feel or do differently. With couples, we’ll begin the Gottman assessment process and use the Oral History Interview to better understand your relationship story, strengths, and how your patterns have developed over time. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive. My role is to help slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and create a clear direction for our work. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and more grounded in what comes next.
