Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Elam-Snowden (Dr. Snowden). I’m a licensed professional counselor with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals through a range of life experiences and emotional challenges. My background in psychology and human development has shaped a practice that centers compassion, curiosity, and cultural responsiveness. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, and I’m committed to creating a space where clients feel understood and supported as they grow toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a warm and collaborative partnership where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I honor each person’s lived experience and the unique path that brought them to this moment. I partner with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity-related concerns as they make sense of their experiences and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a supportive and affirming space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. It is my desire to partner with my clients as they navigate their journey of self-discovery and work through life’s challenges. It is my hope that, together, we will foster meaningful and lasting change that enhances their overall well-being and quality of life.
