Great to meet you!

Hi. It's nice to meet you! I'm passionate about therapy and have been supporting adults, adolescents, and families for over 10 years.

One thing you should know about me is that I truly consider it a privilege to be part of someone's therapeutic journey. I believe that while therapy can be challenging and often requires a great deal of vulnerability, it doesn't have to be intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood, allowing the therapeutic process to feel as natural and organic as possible.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is empowering, collaborative, and deeply validating. I understand firsthand how our experiences shape who we become and influence the way we navigate our world, relationships, and challenges.

I often utilize a Solution-Focused approach, helping individuals and families identify times when the problem felt less overwhelming—or was not present at all. Together, we explore what was different during those moments and recognize the strengths and problem-solving skills they were already using, often without realizing it. Once those strengths are identified, the goal is to build upon them by encouraging more of what is already working.

I also have a strong spiritual background and am happy to incorporate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process if that is important to you. Therapy should always reflect your values, beliefs, and goals.

I don't believe therapy is about the therapist. While I bring professional knowledge, experience, and clinical expertise, I truly believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you uncover your strengths, gain insight, and discover the tools you already possess to create meaningful change.

Think of me as someone throwing you a life jacket when you're navigating rough waters. I'll be right there beside you as we work together toward your destination—or, in this case, safely back to the ship.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect to feel as though you're meeting with a trusted person after navigating rough waters—someone who offers a safe, judgment-free space where you can simply talk and be heard.

The therapeutic work doesn't have to begin on day one. Building trust is an important part of the process. As I provide a supportive and comfortable environment, we'll work together to determine the best path forward at a pace that feels right for you.
