Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Tania Cisneros-Ventura LMFT a bilingual, bicultural Latina therapist that recognizes the profound impact that compassion can have in the therapeutic process. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the honor of supporting a diverse range of communities in various roles, including as an educator, consultant, and mental health therapist.

My journey has enriched my understanding of the challenges faced by clients of all ages who have experienced trauma, mental health issues, legal difficulties, and socioeconomic stress.

I am deeply committed to fostering a collaborative relationship with my clients because I genuinely believe in the power of their voices and stories. It is my mission to empower you with the tools and support necessary to navigate life’s daily struggles and prepare for any future challenges. Together, we can work towards healing and resilience in a safe and understanding environment.

My approach to therapy

In my approach to therapy, I believe in the importance of collaboration with my clients, truly valuing what they identify as their unique needs and goals. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where we can explore your experiences together. By integrating trauma-informed care with evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), we can work together to design a personalized path toward healing, growth, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

A meaningful takeaway from a therapy session often comes from developing a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. You might discover a coping strategy that genuinely empowers you to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease. Sometimes, it’s about recognizing patterns that have been holding you back and acknowledging how they impact your journey. These insights can be incredibly valuable, fostering a sense of self-compassion and guiding you as you move forward. Ultimately, it’s about equipping yourself with practical tools that you can bring into your everyday life, all while embracing a foundation of compassion and understanding for yourself.
