Great to meet you!

I grew up in San Antonio Texas and made Colorado my home shortly after finishing graduate school here. I am deeply connected to my cultural roots and identities as these influence my work with clients, sparking my curiosity about their own cultural upbringing, and how these influence their presenting concerns. I enjoy walking along side people’s journeys of self-discovery and growth. I believe therapy is a powerful tool that can help us achieve a world that is more caring and equitable for all.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I offer a safe non-judgemental space where you can explore, process, and begin to understand yourself on a much deeper level. Part of my job as a therapist is to hold space for you, while also holding you accountable to the changes you want to see in your life.

What you can expect from our first session

I encourage and help my clients to critically examine the ways intergenerational trauma patterns and social issues might play into their presenting problems, because our pain does not exist in a vacuum. Client's can expect to begin connecting with culturally relevant forms of healing while learning to expand their ability to hold their pain with increased compassion. It is a process that requires intentional vulnerable work, and I will be with you every step of the way.
