Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over ten years in the field focused on assisting children, individuals, couples, and families through challenging a range of problems, such as various types of mental health issues and life stressors, low self-esteem, addiction, and family disputes. I incorporate different therapeutic techniques into my approach tailored to individual situations.

My approach to therapy

Therapy can help when life becomes overwhelming, when you feel alone in your struggles, or experiencing significant life changes. You may find it difficult to discuss your problems with family members or friends, as they may not understand your feelings. My role as a therapist is to empower those facing various issues in their life; assisting clients to cope with difficult situations in a more adaptive way.

What you can expect from me

While the decision to begin therapy can be difficult, this is the first step towards achieving meaningful change. I think you have the ability to unlearn any faulty behaviors, replace negative feelings with positive ones, to cope with any challenges that come your way. Being listened to will help you feel understood and that other people care about you and what you have to say. I provide a supportive, caring, non-judgmental, safe, and culturally appropriate atmosphere.
