About Me

I studied clinical social work at Hunter College & was selected to be part of the Diversity in Social Work program at The Ackerman Institute for the Family. Believing that people are liberated through deeper connections to their stories. My therapeutic approach include experiential, humanistic and relational therapeutic approaches with a foundation in liberation-based healing as defined by the Institute for Family Services in New Jersey. I have received training in Dialectical Behavior Training (DBT); Trauma Focused Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MB-CBT) and currently training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. Having focused on individuals, couples, families and groups, I have worked in complex, trauma case management at Mt. Sinai Hospital and private practice.
