Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Black woman, I am deeply committed to creating a space where Black and BIPOC women feel truly seen, heard, and valued. If you've found yourself living with what many call Superwoman Syndrome, you may feel like you always have to hold everything together, put everyone else's needs first, and keep going no matter how exhausted you are. Over time, that constant pressure can lead to anxiety, depression, burnout, and a sense that you've lost touch with yourself. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, balancing countless responsibilities, or wondering who takes care of you, therapy can be a place where you no longer have to carry it all alone.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in supporting Black women navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the emotional weight often associated with Superwoman Syndrome. Together, we'll explore the beliefs, expectations, and experiences that have shaped the way you care for yourself and others. My approach is warm, culturally responsive, and collaborative, helping you better understand your patterns, establish healthier boundaries, quiet self-criticism, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside while taking care of everyone else.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported without having to explain or minimize your experiences. In our work together, we'll focus on helping you move through life's transitions with greater confidence, build practical tools for managing anxiety and depression, and create a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and aligned with who you are—not just who you've had to be for everyone else.
