Great to meet you!

I bring a steady, thoughtful presence to therapy and take time to understand the full context of your experiences. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia and completed my doctoral internship at Johns Hopkins University. I’ve worked in university counseling centers and group practices supporting adults navigating transition, identity concerns, stress, and emotional overwhelm. I value meeting clients where they are and helping them move toward clarity and alignment.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines CBT and IFS in a thoughtful, structured way. We examine the patterns that shape your daily functioning and explore the internal reactions that influence how you cope and respond. I’m attentive to the diverse experiences and identities clients bring to therapy. Sessions focus on insight, emotional regulation, and making meaningful, sustainable changes.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk through what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to understand or change. I’ll ask questions to get a sense of your history, patterns, and current concerns, and we’ll begin identifying what feels most important to focus on. The pace is calm and collaborative, and you’ll have space to share what feels comfortable.
