Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I'm Tanisha, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC) with more than 15 years of experience across both medical and mental health care, including critical care and psychiatry. I help adults work through anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood concerns, stress, and life's bigger transitions , combining medication management and therapy in care that's tailored to you. I lead with compassion and treat the whole person, not just a diagnosis, and I'd be honored to support you in feeling like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

I believe exceptional care starts with feeling truly heard. My approach is collaborative, personalized, and focused on understanding the whole person, not just symptoms. With experience in both medical and psychiatric care, I consider how sleep, stress, lifestyle, and life circumstances impact your overall well-being.

I use evidence-based treatment tailored to your unique needs and, when appropriate, integrate medication management with therapy to address both how you feel and the factors contributing to your challenges. My style is warm, direct, and judgment-free, creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is not only symptom relief, but helping you achieve lasting wellness and feel like your best self.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a meaningful therapeutic partnership. You can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns, experiences, and goals.

Together, we will explore your history, current challenges, and what wellness looks like for you. Ms. Ragland takes a collaborative, whole-person approach to care, helping you gain clarity, identify strengths, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Her goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, supported, and confident in the path forward.
