Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed psychologist in California with over 15 years of experience working with adult individuals and couples. I bring warmth, insight, and clinical expertise to my work, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience.

My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, ACT, CBT, DBT, trauma-focused interventions, and mindfulness. At the heart of my work is a focus on how early attachment experiences shape our core beliefs, emotional patterns, and current life struggles. By exploring these foundational dynamics, we can create space for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Before we begin, I offer a free 15–20 minute consultation to ensure we’re a good fit and to answer any questions you may have about the therapy process.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative model of therapy, combining elements of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), trauma-focused interventions, and mindfulness-based practices. These evidence-based approaches allow for flexibility and responsiveness to each client’s unique needs and goals.

At the core of my work is a psychodynamic orientation, which means I pay close attention to how early attachment experiences and unconscious patterns shape current beliefs, emotional responses, and behavioral choices. By exploring these formative experiences, we can better understand how longstanding core beliefs may be limiting your ability to thrive in the present.

This integrative framework supports deep insight while also offering practical tools for change—helping clients move beyond old patterns, manage current challenges, and cultivate a more empowered and meaningful life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I begin with an intake process, where we explore your mental health history, current struggles, and any relevant life experiences that have shaped your emotional and psychological wellbeing. This helps me gain a comprehensive understanding of your background and the challenges you're facing.

We will also discuss your goals for therapy and work together to define clear, specific, and meaningful treatment objectives. These goals will guide our work and ensure that our sessions remain focused on the issues that matter most to you.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work and ask any questions you might have about the therapeutic process. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment where we can begin the journey toward meaningful change.
