Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Tanya (she/her/hers).

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After graduation, I moved to Fort Worth and earned two master's degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary: one in Family and Marriage Counseling and another in Christian Education. Since completing my graduate work in 2007, I’ve worked in therapy and case management. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner.

My Passion & Experience

I am passionate about helping people become who they’ve always wanted to be. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, individuals, and families on a wide range of challenges and diagnoses.

Some of my areas of focus include:

  • Trauma
  • Grief and Loss
  • History of Physical, Sexual and Emotional Abuse
  • Attachment and Relationship Issues
  • Parent Coaching and Support
  • Depression and Anxiety

  • Life Transitions
  • Spirituality
  • Behavioral Challenges

My approach to therapy

My Approach

Do you or your child desire more authentic relationships? Are you navigating a transitional season and seeking support? Do you feel disconnected, anxious, or overwhelmed—and despite your best efforts, can’t seem to move forward?

The chaos of everyday life often overshadows our inner strength and sense of self. Early life experiences shape how we connect, relate, and function in the present—even when we’re unaware of how the past influences our current struggles. Without unpacking unresolved issues, these patterns often persist.

I believe in a personalized, relational approach to therapy. My goal is to truly know you, meet you where you are, and walk alongside you as you reconnect with your truest self. No two people are the same, so I tailor my support to your unique story and journey.

What you can expect from me

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where healing, growth, and connection can take place.
