Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist in both New York and Texas who works primarily with adults, as well as parents seeking structured, evidence-based support. My practice focuses on helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related concerns, and the emotional demands of parenting using research-supported approaches.

A significant part of my work involves parent coaching, where I help parents develop practical, developmentally appropriate strategies for setting limits, reducing reactivity, and creating more stable family dynamics. This work is skills-based and grounded in psychological science rather than trends.

I also have advanced training in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, including developmental and learning conditions such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, as well as court-involved parent reunification work. While therapy and parent coaching are the focus of my insurance-based practice, this background informs my clinical judgment, case formulation, and treatment planning.

I have over 20 years of experience working with adults, parents, and children, and I am especially well suited for clients who want an active, structured therapy process that leads to meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is structured, collaborative, and evidence-based, with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and related research-supported models. I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and apply skills in real-world situations.

While the work is thoughtful and serious, I aim to create an environment that is approachable and human. I am active in sessions and focus on helping clients understand why certain patterns persist and how to change them effectively.

My goal is for clients to leave therapy with tools they can continue to use independently—so progress is sustainable, not session-dependent. (Please note that I do not prescribe medication.)

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on understanding what brings you to therapy, identifying patterns that may be contributing to ongoing stress or symptoms, and clarifying goals for treatment. We will discuss your history at a pace that feels manageable and begin developing a shared framework for how therapy can be most useful for you.

Clients can expect a thoughtful, structured conversation that balances understanding with forward movement. When appropriate, I may offer initial feedback or strategies early on, rather than waiting several sessions to begin the work.

My aim is for clients to leave the first session with greater clarity, a sense of direction, and a clear understanding of how we would work together.
