Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tanya, a therapist passionate about helping teens and young adults navigate life's challenges with warmth, creativity, and a holistic approach. With over 5 years of experience working with individuals 12-25, I understand the unique struggles that come with growing up, finding your identity, and managing stress, anxiety, or past experiences. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions, build resilience, and discover strengths you didn't know you had. We'll work together to find what best supports your healing and growth. You don't have to go through this alone-I'm here to help!

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my work with clients, I take an integrative and client-centered approach, tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs. I draw from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) to help clients develop emotional regulation skills, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build coping strategies. For those healing from trauma, I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to process distressing memories and reduce their emotional impact. I also incorporate somatic therapy techniques, helping clients reconnect with their bodies and release stored tension. I often use art therapy to explore emotions when words feel limiting. Whether we are focusing on managing anxiety, navigating relationships, or processing past experiences, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients working with me can expect to leave sessions with practical tools, deeper self-awareness, and a greater sense of empowerment in their daily lives. Whether were working through anxiety, past trauma, or emotional regulation my goal is to help clients develop tangible skills they can use outside of therapy. Through DBT and CBT, you'll learn how to challenge negative thought patterns, set boundaries, and navigate difficult emotions. With EMDR and somatic therapy, they can process and release past experiences in a way that fosters healing and resilience.
