Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as yourself without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, while also helping you recognize patterns, understand yourself more deeply, and make meaningful changes in your life. You don’t have to know exactly where to start; we can figure that out together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is conversational, compassionate, and tailored to the person sitting in front of me. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based approaches, but I don’t believe therapy should feel like a textbook or a checklist. Together, we’ll explore not only what you’re feeling, but what may be underneath it and the patterns that keep showing up in your life. I’ll meet you where you are while also gently challenging you when it can help you grow.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about helping me understand you, not expecting you to tell your entire life story in an hour. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult lately, and what you would like to be different. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and goals, but you’re always allowed to take your time with things you aren’t ready to discuss. By the end, we’ll begin identifying what you’d like us to work toward together.
