Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (or, LCSW) in New York State with 23 years of experience, and with a Master of Social Work degree from Smith College School for Social Work. I have experience with individual and family therapy delivered within home, community, and office- based settings, as well as telehealth. I also have 19+ years of experience as an adjunct college on- line instructor.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The therapy room is a place for us to move through challenges and joy together. This is a place for you to be met with compassion, hope, and experience within mental/ emotional health, as well as a setting of non- judgment and healing.

I have experience with Attachment, Self- Regulation, and Competency (a trauma- informed model); mindfulness; strengths- based care; Motivational Interviewing; narrative therapy; CBT; DBT; and play therapy.

During your first session, we will to get to know one another and explore your goals and hopes for our path ahead!

I work from a trauma- informed, strengths- based, mindful, and person- centered perspective. I hold the belief that life’s stressors can impact the well- being of the whole person, and there are ways to find meaning, overcome, and thrive.
