Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with attention difficulties, anxiety, depression, mood instability, and neurodevelopmental differences. Many of my patients come to me after feeling frustrated by inconsistent treatment or limited results from previous medication trials.

My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and evidence-based. I focus not only on symptom reduction, but on real-life outcomes — improved focus, emotional regulation, motivation, and daily functioning at school, work, and home.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals with complex presentations, including those managing long-term psychiatric care, academic accommodations, or developmental differences. I believe medication management works best when patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment decisions.

Whether you are a young adult trying to stay organized and focused, a parent seeking support for your adolescent, or an adult navigating emotional burnout and mood instability, care should feel structured, supportive, and realistic — not rushed or dismissive.

If you’re looking for a provider who takes the time to understand the full picture and builds a plan that fits your life, I welcome you to reach out.

My approach to therapy

I take a thoughtful, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to psychiatric care. I believe effective treatment starts with truly understanding the whole person—not just symptoms, but daily functioning, life stressors, and individual goals.

I specialize in medication management for adolescents and adults with ADHD, anxiety, mood instability, and neurodevelopmental differences, and I often work with patients who feel “stuck” after trying multiple treatments without the results they hoped for. My role is to bring structure, clarity, and clinical expertise to help move care forward in a way that feels practical and realistic.

I focus on:

  • Clear treatment planning
  • Careful medication selection and monitoring
  • Ongoing collaboration with patients (and families when appropriate)
  • Emphasis on real-life outcomes—better focus, emotional regulation, and daily functioning

I aim to create a space where patients feel respected, heard, and actively involved in their care. Treatment should feel supportive and organized—not rushed, confusing, or dismissive. My goal is to help patients feel more stable, confident, and empowered in their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a thoughtful, structured, and supportive experience focused on understanding the full picture—not just symptoms, but how your mental health is affecting your daily life.

We will spend time reviewing:

  • Your current concerns and goals for treatment
  • Relevant mental health, medical, and medication history
  • What has helped in the past and what hasn’t
  • Any challenges with focus, mood, anxiety, sleep, or emotional regulation

My approach is collaborative and respectful. You won’t be rushed, dismissed, or pressured into decisions. Instead, we will work together to clarify what’s going on and begin developing a plan that feels realistic and tailored to your needs.

If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss options carefully—reviewing potential benefits, risks, and what to expect—so you can make informed choices about your care. If medication is not the right first step, we’ll talk about alternative supports and next steps.

By the end of the session, you can expect:

  • A clearer understanding of your symptoms
  • A thoughtful treatment plan or next-step strategy
  • Time for your questions and concerns
  • A sense of what ongoing care will look like

My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, supported, and confident that you have a provider who takes your care seriously and works with you—not just for you.
