Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, difficult relationships, anger, or major life changes leave you feeling stuck, exhausted, misunderstood, or unsure how to move forward. I’m an LCPC in Illinois with more than ten years of experience offering telehealth sessions to navigate life’s hardest chapters. My eight years in school psychology also gives me a distinct perspective on how early school and life experiences, behavioral patterns, family dynamics, and relationships can shape the way we respond to stress later in life.

I work with teens, adults, and seniors who want a place to feel heard, understand what they are experiencing, build on their strengths, and develop healthier ways to cope and connect. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is primarily Person-Centered and Interpersonal. I believe therapy works best when you feel understood and the work reflects your experiences, relationships, strengths, and goals. We may explore patterns in how you relate to others, how past and present experiences affect you, and what may be getting in the way of the changes you want to make. When helpful, I also draw from trauma-focused, strengths-based, solution-focused, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches that best fit the work we’re doing together.

What you can expect from me

You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You can expect a collaborative space where we take time to understand what brought you to therapy and what you want from the process. I will listen, ask questions, and help you recognize patterns, strengths, and practical ways to navigate challenges. Whether you are working through the past, facing challenges today, or preparing for what is next, I will meet you where you are.
