Great to meet you!
I have worked in healthcare since I was 16, when I became a CNA. I later joined the military, where I served for four years as a respiratory therapist, including deployment to Afghanistan as an Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) veteran. I then transitioned into nursing and have spent the past 10 years working in critical care.
Through these experiences, I discovered that my true passion lies in understanding the complexities of neuroscience and mental health. I take a trauma-informed approach to care and recognize that every experience we have shapes how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us.
I understand the challenges associated with addiction, ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma bonds, and unhealthy or abusive relationship dynamics, as well as the emotional toll of living in an ever-changing world that often demands more than we feel able to give.
Through my own adversities and professional journey, I’ve learned the importance of balance, self-awareness, and building practical tools for emotional resilience. I believe that while support is essential, we also each hold powerful inner strengths that, when nurtured, can help open the door to greater peace, healing, and freedom.
