Great to meet you!

I am a Florida native and University of Central Florida graduate “Go Knights” with over 25 years of service in the community working with individuals, Licensing and Placement Supervisor/Specialist, School Social Worker and Child, Adolescent and Family Therapist I specialize in areas of social/emotional isolation, social media addictions, anger management, mood disorders, anxiety, grief and loss, conflict management and poor communication skills.

My approach to therapy

My approach to working with clients is to develop and build a strong therapist-client alliance centered around his or her own unique needs focusing on his or her strengths, current coping skills and resources in order to develop effective solutions in resolving emotional or behavioral obstacles, promote self-actualization, empower self-growth, improve relationships, and reduce emotional suffering.

What you can expect from me

In therapy—somewhere that’s meant to be a safe space to explore feelings—many still censor themselves, judging their feelings as “right” or “wrong” or “important” or “insignificant.” By allowing clients to effectively and appropriately express themselves in an environment free of judgement, shame or blame, clients should walk away with a better understanding of their thoughts, feelings and emotions as I support their journey to wellness while he or she remain in control of their own treatment.
