Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Tara Fries. I believe therapy can help you create a more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling life. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable space where you can sort through life’s challenges, process emotions, and develop tools to navigate daily stressors with confidence and balance.

My approach to therapy

I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults across a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, family conflict, and relationship challenges. I currently work as a school-based therapist supporting teens and families, and I bring that same empathetic, practical approach to my private practice.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, I’ll help you feel at ease as we build trust and explore what’s been weighing on you. Together, we’ll use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to develop coping skills, strengthen communication, and improve emotional regulation. My approach is patient, compassionate, and nonjudgmental—and I often use humor to help you feel comfortable and open.

Whether you’re seeking support through a specific challenge or looking to create lasting change, I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.
