As a licensed clinical social worker, I strive to create a safe, supportive space, affirming, and supportive space in which clients can explore a variety of issues/topics. I work with adults who may be struggling with LGBTQ+ issues (especially those who identify as transgender), anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's unique goals and lived experiences. I use evidence-based approaches and am trained in CBT, CBT for anxiety, and EMDR.
During our first session, we will get to know each other, which includes discussing what brought you into therapy, what you would like to get out of our time together, and what you can expect in therapy with me.
