Great to meet you!

I'm Tara, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with individuals, teens, and couples across Massachusetts. My clients come to me feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or like they've lost their sense of direction - and they leave with real tools, renewed clarity, and a stronger sense of themselves.

I work with a wide range of experiences including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. I'm proud to offer 50% off private pay rates for Veterans, Active Military, and First Responders - because that service deserves to be honored.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative approach - which means you won't be boxed into a single method. I'm trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, somatic work, EFT, ACT, and mindfulness, and we'll figure out together which combination actually fits your life and your goals.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe real healing happens when people feel genuinely seen - not analyzed. I'll challenge you when it's helpful and support you fully, always. Think of it as a partnership: you're the expert on your life, and I bring the clinical toolkit.

What you can expect from me

I meet people where they are and empower them to understand themselves on a deeper level. You'll share what's brought you here, what's felt hard, and what you're hoping to change. I'll share how I think I can help and what working together might look like. Leave the pressure at the door. Most people leave our first session feeling like they made the right call reaching out. That's the goal - for you to walk away with a sense of relief and a little more hope than you came in with.
