Great to meet you!

There is a difference between knowing what you should do and actually being able to do it, and that gap is where many of the people who come to me find themselves. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and the family challenges that often come alongside them. With more than 15 years of experience across a wide range of settings, from inpatient care to outpatient work, I bring a personable and warm approach to every session.

My approach to therapy

My approach starts with meeting you where you are. Rather than handing you answers, we work together to help you find them. I also stay direct when it helps to name the thought patterns that are keeping you stuck, and we do real work on challenging the kind of thinking that makes problems feel bigger or more fixed than they actually are. I tend to work well with people who appreciate a therapist who is warm and also willing to be honest with them.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation about what brought you to therapy, what your goals are, and what questions you have about how the process works. I want to make sure you feel oriented and heard from the start. If you are ready to take a step toward something different, I would be glad to connect.
