Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tara-Kaye, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of ReBridge Psych. Before entering psychiatric practice, I spent over 12 years in neonatal intensive care, supporting families through moments of uncertainty, exhaustion, and hope. Those experiences shaped my belief that people are often carrying much more than others can see, and that feeling genuinely heard can make a meaningful difference. Today, I support adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, and life transitions, with a special interest in perinatal mental health, NICU caregivers, and healthcare professionals. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out; we can start right where you are.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful psychiatric care begins with understanding the person behind the symptoms. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and solution-oriented, taking time to explore how your emotional health, physical wellbeing, relationships, and life experiences influence one another. Treatment may include medication management, therapeutic interventions, practical coping strategies, and ongoing support tailored to your individual needs and goals. I value open communication and shared decision-making, so you're an active participant in your care rather than simply receiving a treatment plan.

What you can expect from me

Our first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and develop a clearer understanding of what brings you to care. We'll explore your current concerns, personal and medical history, previous treatment experiences, and what you're hoping to achieve. You can expect thoughtful questions, a judgment-free conversation, and space to share your concerns at a comfortable pace. Together, we'll discuss my initial impressions and appropriate next steps, whether that involves medication, additional assessment, or other supportive treatment options.
