Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Tara Maddalena. My path as a clinical psychologist has taken me from hospital settings and inner-city clinics to private practice. I have extensive experience supporting those through the weight of trauma, chronic illness, life transitions/challenges, and loss. My diverse background has given me a deep appreciation for the unique stories each client brings to the room.

Whether you are navigating a major life transition, like starting college or adjusting to marriage, or struggling with anxiety, depression, or substance use, I am here to help. My goal is to honor your experience while providing the tools you need to find clarity and healing.

My approach to therapy

I aim to foster positive intention and increase self-worth, helping you navigate your challenges and move forward with confidence. With a career spanning diverse clinical settings, I offer the specialized insight needed to assist clients of all ages.

What you can expect from me

We start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel secure being vulnerable. From there, we’ll work together to turn those goals into a reality.
