Great to meet you!

I hold a PhD and am a licensed clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience in mental health, including a hospital-based behavioral health leadership role. In my private practice, I work with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, low motivation, difficult emotions, college, work, relationships, and other major life transitions. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and practical. My goal is to create a safe, trusting space where you can speak honestly, build useful skills, and apply them to everyday life. I value the time and effort you bring to treatment, and I will work to make each session meaningful.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, and centered on you. I take time to understand your experiences, goals, and what has or has not worked in the past. Together, we will build practical skills for managing difficult emotions, staying present, and handling everyday challenges. I will offer thoughtful questions, honest feedback, and encouragement to keep moving forward, even when change feels hard. Our work will be tailored to what you need and useful beyond the therapy session.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will begin getting to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope will change, and what support would be most useful. Building trust takes time, so I will listen carefully and create space for you to feel understood. We will begin identifying practical goals and next steps, with no pressure to have everything figured out. My hope is that you leave feeling heard and with a clearer sense of how therapy can help.
