Great to meet you!

I’m a compassionate and dedicated LCSW and LCADC committed to helping individuals navigate challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is grounded in DBT, CBT, and Family Systems, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood.

I received my Masters of Social Work degree from Kean University and have over 8 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children.Throughout my career, I have developed particular expertise in supporting clients experiencing grief, truama, major life transitions, stress, anxiety and depression.

I believe that every person’s experiences and goals are unique, so I tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs. Together, we’ll work to better understand what you’re experiencing, identify practical strategies for moving forward, and build on your existing strengths.

My goal is to help you feel more confident, empowered, and

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe that creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is an important part of the healing process. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel comfortable being honest and open about their experiences, thoughts, emotions, and challenges without fear of criticism or judgment.

I recognize that every client is different, and I tailor my approach to each individual's needs, personality, experiences, and goals. I believe that therapy is not about telling you what you should do, but rather about working together to better understand what you are experiencing, identify what may be getting in the way of your well-being, and develop strategies that can help you move forward.

I utilize evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and motivational techniques. Through DBT, I help clients develop skills related to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. CBT can help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and develop healthier and more balanced ways of responding to difficult situations. I also incorporate motivational techniques to help clients explore their own reasons for change, build confidence, identify personal strengths, and take meaningful steps toward their goals.

As an LCSW and LCADC, I have a particular focus on supporting individuals experiencing mental health and substance use concerns. I approach these concerns with empathy, respect, and an understanding that change happens differently for everyone.

I consider therapy a partnership built on trust, respect, and compassion. Wherever you are in your journey, I am here to meet you where you are and support you as you work toward all of your goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating or uncertain, so I make it a priority to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe being yourself.

During our first session, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you would like to be different in your life. I will take the time to learn about your current concerns, as well as any relevant personal, family, relationship, mental health, or substance use history that may help me better understand your experiences. You will have the opportunity to share as much as you feel comfortable sharing, and there is no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin.
