Great to meet you!

My name is Tara Roque and I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and certified behavior analyst (BCBA). I have been practicing as an LMHC for over twenty years. I have a bachelor's degree, a master’s degree, and a post-masters degree from UMass Dartmouth. I received my master's degree in Clinical Psychology, focusing on assessment, diagnosis & treatment, in 2000. I obtained my post-masters in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2022. My therapeutic approach is a combination of CBT-cognitive behavior therapy and ABA-applied behavior analysis. I am licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in the state of Massachusetts.

My approach to therapy

I take a relaxed approach to therapy and want to make sure the client feels comfortable in sessions. I like to focus on the clients strengths and help them build on what they already do well to meet the goals they set in counseling.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really a time for me to get to know you and you to get to know me. The session will focus on identifying treatment goals.
