Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling and over 13 years of clinical experience. I began my career working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, which shaped my trauma-informed, compassionate approach to therapy. Since then, I have worked in community health, private practice, and private clinic settings, supporting clients across a wide range of life experiences. I specialize in working with adult survivors of childhood trauma, LGBTQ+ individuals, women’s issues, and anxiety. My goal is to provide a supportive, affirming space where clients can feel understood and empowered as they work toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic and individualized. I tailor the therapeutic experience to each person, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities to address the unique combination of experiences, strengths, and challenges that make up each individual. I believe that recognizing and building upon a client’s existing strengths is essential to meaningful progress. Empowerment is central to my work, as I aim to help clients develop the insight, skills, and confidence needed to be successful both in and outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

I begin by developing a thorough understanding of each client—their background, current concerns, preferences, cultural context, and what they hope to gain from therapy. From there, I select evidence-based approaches that align with their goals and comfort level. I also view therapy as a collaborative process, so I regularly check in about what is or isn’t working and make adjustments accordingly. This ensures the process remains responsive and uniquely supportive for each individual.
