Great to meet you!

Tara received her MSW degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Social Work in 1994. She retired as a school social worker where she oversaw/managed a Behavioral Disabilities (BD) class at the high school level. Tara has 25 years of helping at-risk youth address mental, emotional, and behavioral issues through a strength-based, person-centered therapy approach.

Presently, Tara's private practice works with adults who have anxiety, depression and/or truama; also couples therapy.

My approach to therapy

Tara works from a collaborative, strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting clients to be their best selves. During the therapy process, she assists clients in discovering their strengths, building a support system, and developing a healthy lifestyle to set the foundation for life success.

What you can expect from me

Her evidence-based approach allows her to effectively address the emotional and behavioral issues of clients from diverse backgrounds.

Tara works collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are, to reveal and dismantle the mechanisms that inhibit healthy and meaningful relationships with others - and most importantly, within themselves.
