Great to meet you!

From treatment centers to schools, career colleges to private offices, I have helped people regain their strength and confidence to rediscover their purpose and move forward from their current battles.

My decade in the Armed Forces has enabled me to support military veterans and first responders. My decade of 12 Step recovery from codependency empowered me to help addicts and codependents recover and learn healthy boundaries. My decade of counseling education and professional practice provides me with the clinical basis and experience for treating a variety of conditions. My history as a child from a broken home and now years as a wife and mother have given me grounds to speak into communications breakdowns, parenting issues, divorce and family matters. I truly look forward to helping you climb your mountain so you can see the incredible view ahead as you rise above your circumstances!

My approach to therapy

Besides a wide variety of evidence-based clinical interventions, intuition and experience have been my most valuable tools in guidance. I help my clients understand where their distorted thoughts, uncontrollable feelings and misguided behaviors come from, as this is the first step in navigating all meaningful changes. I also help my people better understand the choices others have made with or towards them, often alleviating pain and confusion and fast-tracking their journey towards healthier relationships. I have a unique human approach to helping you process what you choose to share in session. Ultimately, my approach does not permit us to waste any time!

What you can expect from me

I meet with clients wherever they find themselves and work towards helping them realize where they want to go, while discovering what strengths they already have to help them get there. The journey is a collaborative process. Each plan will be different, and results based on your own level of readiness. My clients walk away feeling brave and more self-confident, prepared to break old cycles and use their newfound boundaries and skills to live freer and more accepting of who they are!
